Hi everyone, and a very Happy World Cardmaking Day to all my crafty friends! This morning it is pouring at our house and our normal Saturday morning football game was postponed until a later date. So I poured myself a cup of coffee and headed to my scrapbook room and made this sweet card for a Cupcakes/Candy/sweet goodies challenge at SP&Company:
I personally think there's nothing better than a warm chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven. Unless it's cheesecake. Or ice cream. Or....Ok...you get the message, I have a sweet tooth like nobody's business. *grins in guilt*
To make my card, I used two SP&Company stamp sets. The sweet little lady is from Sunshine Emma and the tray of cookies is from Handmade Holiday gift tags. I colored both with Copic Markers and fussy cut them out. I used paper piecing for her dress to match the paper from "Fly a Kite" by MME. The sentiment is from Tiny Tags by My Craft Spot. The ribbon is from my stash...and the hearts were punched using an SU punch.
So the other day...my under the cabinet lighting blew up in my scrapbook room. I turned them on, there was a blue flash, then....nothing. I have no lighting under the cabinets any more. I consider this an emergency, don't you? I sure do miss it....hopefully my husband will find some time to repair it soon. He's very handy like that. And since it is raining today....fingers crossed!
Don't forget to check out the first card I shared today! I wasn't really planning to get time to scrap today--lucky me!
