Cheers!

Hi my friends....I cannot tell you how very, very happy I am that it's Friday!  And I have the perfect "Friday before St. Patrick's Day" cards to share with you today.  But first, let me share a few reasons to toast the weekend from my little corner of the world.  First and foremost, my son is done with the science fair!  He is a third grader and had to do an invention.  He made a clock from recycled materials and shared his project last night at our regional science fair.  His school does not require the kids to do a project, but my husband LOVES science fairs and well...my son really had no choice but to enter.  So between his dad's love of all things scientific and his mom's arsenal of scrapbook tools....well, his project sort of ROCKED!  And I'm so proud of my son--he enjoyed the judging, practiced his presentation and can fully explain some of Bernoulli's equations of fluid dynamics. I can hardly spell that let alone explain it!    Also on the TGIF train....we are not going anywhere this weekend or doing anything.  Can I just sing from the mountain tops how nice that will be?  Now...if only the weather warms up and I can ride my bike.  Because I did some serious calorie damage on the way home from the science fair.  My son wanted a Frosty.  And who on earth would turn down a 9 year old that just explained Bernoulli??  Not me.  Bottoms up, sweet boy!   And speaking of bottoms up....here's my cards:

Two shaped "green" beer cards!

I made the shaped card using a cut file from the Silhouette Online Store.

The sentiment is by SP&Company.

Can I just tell you how much these make me smile!?!

Let's all raise a glass to a happy, fun and safe weekend for anyone celebrating St. Patrick's Day, the end of a science fair or just a Saturday and Sunday without plans.

Cheers!

Sonya,
What a great card. I love the embossed frost on top. I remember when my son had to invent something from school. He invented an umbrella to where if it was lightning outside you wouldn't get electrocuted. LOL.
Love the kids imaginations.
Hope you have a great weekend and wishing you fantastic weather
Hugs, Stacy
