Paris Scrapbook Page

Hi everyone...I'm here today with a very special scrapbook page to share with you.  I'm designing for Dr. Phil Scraps today, so I'll be featuring a lot of great Close To My Heart products in my project.

In the summer of 2011, my husband and I went to Europe.  We split our trip into four parts.  The first three days we spent in Paris for the finale of the 2011 Tour de France.  We're avid cyclists and this was certainly a "bucket list" item for us.  The next three days we went to Prague, Czech Republic to visit our dear friends who spend their summers in their home country.  After that, we ventured into the French Alps for my husband to fulfill a lifelong dream of biking the French Alps (that's a bit too much for my cycling ability!).  And we rounded out our trip with three more days in Paris.  These pictures were taken our last night back in Paris.  We had taken a bottle of wine and some chocolate and spent the evening watching the sun set over the Seine River from the Pont-des-Arts bridge.  It's honestly one of the best nights of my life.

Check out my scrapbook page of a couple of photos we took that evening:

I used cardstock and patterned paper from the La Belle Vie Paper Packet (item X7158B).  La Belle Vie means "life is beautiful".  I can honestly say that life certainly was beautiful that night!

This awesome Eiffel Tower cut is from Cricut Destinations.  It's cut at 4 1/2 inches.  The "Au Revoir" stamp is from the Bonjour stamp set (item B1414).  The postal mark is a stamp found in the Jardin stamp set (item D1528).

This awesome sticker from the La Belle Vie Stickease Assortment made the perfect journal box.  The stamp is also from Bonjour (item B1414).  Notice how I inked all the edges of the die cuts and stickers?  It softens the look a bit, which was really nice for this romantic layout.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you enjoyed a night in Paris with me!

Au Revoir,
