Funny Face

Hello...I don't tend to share many scrapbook pages with actual photos.  I'm pretty protective of my son's image and just don't want to "overshare".  I figure anyone reading my blog is creative and can imagine my photos--ha!  But today's layout that I'm going to share does contain a photo.  I'm pretty sure it's a safe one to share, it's got a great disguise!  Check it out:

What kid doesn't love these glasses?!

I am really intent on scrapbooking more in 2013.  I often let working on scrapbooks slide in favor of card making.  I'm honestly not sure why--I really am a scrapbooker at my core, as far as paper crafting goes, but I'm about a year behind of working on my son's books, have yet to finish our Europe trip and have a whole Florida vacation that has yet to be worked on.  I have a lot to keep me busy!  With this in mind, I changed my monthly SP&Company kit to be a 12 by 12 option--giving me a great Echo Park collection as well as my stamps that I love to use each month.  I had been getting 6 by 6 paper instead, but my basket of that is literally running over, so I needed to change things up a bit.  The paper in this layout is from that kit--so are the stickers you see.  I used my Cameo to cut out the glasses and mustache, which were perfect accents for this page.

I'm really excited to get back into scrapbooking more this year--hopefully you enjoy some pages from me for a change of pace!  Oh, and in case you didn't notice, my style for making pages is quite clean and simple.  Sort of old school, but it's what works for me--especially when creating pages for a boy!

I'd love to hear your feedback on my page--it really is vibrant in person, I hope the photo does it justice!
