Baby, It's Cold Outside

Hi Everyone!   My cousin sent me the sweetest Christmas card this past year.  When I thanked her for the gorgeous handmade card she made, she told me that she made four cards a month for several months.  I haven't been good about working ahead and I usually need about 50 cards each Christmas to give as gifts, to sell, etc....so I decided to take inspiration from my cousin and share a card a month leading up to Christmas, which should help me build up my stock of holiday cards and prevent creative burnout.  I plan to do this on or near the 25th each month, depending on my design team assignments.  Thanks, Jean Ann, for inspiring me!

I was scrapbooking holiday memories a few weeks ago and cut out these mittens using my Silhouette Cameo for my layout.  While I was at it, I cut a second pair and used up some scraps from an Echo Park paper pad to make this card.  The trim behind the cards is also a cut from the Silhouette Online store. When I have credits to "burn" I will often pick up borders--they are great for cardmaking and scrapbooking alike!  The stamp is by My Craft Spot "Think Snow".

Thanks for stopping by today!
