FCCB #129 End of Summer Challenge!

Happy Monday everyone!  It's time for another awesome challenge at  The Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog!!!   This week's challenge theme is "End of Summer."   We are challenging you to make something using at least one Cricut cut that reminds you of summer.  I went in a bit of a different direction this week.  Check out my card:

We went to Florida in late summer.  I wanted to make a project that reminded me of our awesome time we spent as a family at the beach.  The beach scene is a digi stamp by SKdigis and is framed by a cut from Elegant Edges--which is an awesome cartridge to have if you like to use traditional or digi stamps.  I did have to trim that frame just a tad bit--I only had a small section of that paper left and I had a "notch" out of one side.  I used my paper trimmer to even all the sides up and voila--a perfect mat for my beach scene.  The sentiment at the bottom is from a very old SU set called "Ttime for You" and is stamped on a mat that I cut from Art Philosophy.  These 2 cartridges are by far my most used of all that I have!

What reminds you of summer?  I hope you'll join us over at FCCB--can't wait to see what you create!  Have an awesome day!
